We are The Plains Community Group! We established in 2023 to bring high quality affordable events to the Adelaide Plains! We are honoured to be the 2025 Community Group of the Year in the Adelaide Plains Council Region!
The Plains Community Group or PCG, strives to:
- Create and promote a variety of events within the Adelaide Plains Council (APC) region
- Showcase events that promote and make connections with the community
- Build community resilience and assist disadvantaged families to attend affordable events within the region e.g The Twinkling
- Create and promote events of the visual and preforming arts within the APC region
- Engage the community and cater for the needs of the APC region through accessible and inclusive events
- Collaborate with other charitable organisations within the APC region.
We are a small group of volunteers from Two Wells, Mallala, Korunye, Lewiston, Parham and surrounds, from years 18 up. We hold monthly meetings, on the second Wednesday of each month in the Old Two Wells Council Chambers from 6pm.

Our Flagship event is The Twinkling. This is our main focus but we hope to bring more fundraising events to the region soon, such as a Quingo Night and other fundraising events!
